To do a competition is not just physically pushing yourself beyond limits but to achieve that is to break your mental barrier too.
Your mind is not your best friend. Rather it controls you, protects you, and looks for the easy way out. But your mind is a manifestation of you and it’s up to us to control it not the other way around.
People can achieve wonders when they feel like they are in control.
Every time I don’t want to train. Turns up cause I’m in control. Every time I want to have a meal outside I stick to the plan cause I’m in control. Today I don’t want to do cardio because I’m tired but I get up on that treadmill and push myself to 30 mins because I’m in control.
Doing this has helped me break through my mental barriers. It has trickled down to other aspects of my life. It has helped me handle stress and anxiety better. Helped me stay calm even when I’m surrounded by chaos. It has helped me help others which is the best feeling ever.
So just by doing one competition, I can achieve so much. It doesn’t have to be a bodybuilding competition. A transformation is equally demanding. Challenging yourself and achieving goals
that seem so far but doing it changes you. Changes your mentality.
